Device
Measuring gamma radiation, designed specifically for area and process monitoring in nuclear facilities.
Displays gamma dose rate of the area and helps in creating alerts to warn local people in the event of an alarm (emergency) situation.
Provides audio and visual alarm indication with contact outputs whenever preset threshold levels are exceeded.
The radiation level is indicated in user defined engineering units.
How it works
- Monitors gamma radiation using internal sensitive Geiger Muller tube.
- Indicates the radiation level in user selected unit.
- Provides Audio-visual alarm indication on detection of high radiation levels.
- Acknowledge or reset the alarms locally or remotely.
- Self diagnosis indicates internal faults avoiding wrong indications.
- Radiation level available as analog output in the form of 4-20mA/0-5V DC.
- Large Status Indicators: Green for normal / Red for alarm condition.
- LEDs for status indications like fault, battery low, HV status.
